i talked with a lawyer about my car accident case (airbag product liability case). He said i won’t have to pay anything until after the case is won. I can’t afford to pay unless i win the case. What can i do to make sure theres no hidden fees and make sure i won’t have to pay anything unless the case is won? If we lose the case will i have to pay anything?
Why do lawsuit lotto seeking sleazeballs blame others and want to be paid, and want no accountability for themselves?
Try reading the lawyer agreement, genius. How are we supposed to know what idiotic arrangement you signed yourself into?
Unhappy with Compensation Lawyer ???
After having a whiplash injury from the car accident in September, I’ve had a lawyer company dealing with it, provided through my fully-comprehensive insurance by my car insurance provider, as a part of my policy.
I’m getting the impression that this lawyer seems to be “scrutinise” me, rather than HELPING me & pointing me in the right direction as what to do, etc. in order to maximise the financial gain from the insurance company of other driver.
Is it normal that such lawyer DO NOT help their client & they’re ONLY interested in getting the case sorted out by whatsoever amount they manage to get, as a compensation, from the insurance company of other driver ??? If I’m NOT happy with her now OR not happy with the compensation amount she manage to get off the other insurance company’s provider, is there an option THEN to find ANOTHER lawyer (perhaps, on “no win, no fee” basis) & let this new laywer redo the entire compensation process, AGAIN ???
It’s his job to “scrutinize” you, he’s trying to make sure it’s rock solid that you should be given the money for this, because if you don’t get paid, he can’t charge more for helping you win
Can anyone help me find a lawyer?
I need a lawyer that charge no fee until they win the case for you. I need a lawyer because i was wrongly fired, discriminated against, all while having my character defamed. I live in Bronx, NY and was wondering whether anyone knows a lawyer that deals with that kind of thing, but do not charge a fee unless you win the case. I cannot afford to pay a lawyer at this time.
You want a lawyer that will work for a contingency fee. That is, they do not get paid unless you do. They get paid a percentage of the money that you win (usually 30% to 40% depending on your case). It is very common for attorneys to work with this arrangement. You will need an attorney in your state… Look at the link below. You can find referrals at the state bar website. You can also look to your nearest law school. I know that there are several in the NY area, but I do not know specifically which is nearest to you. If you look at the nearest law school’s website, you should be able to find student attorneys who can also help you (they will work under the supervision of a licensed NY attorney). You can also look in your local phone book or online in your area. Good luck.
